 Water, Water and Water

You've heard it before and you'll hear it again. Water is the best way to keep your metabolism going and keep your body healthy. Don't underestimate drinking water!

 

 Stop "dieting" and make it a LIFE STYLE change!

Stop going on a diet! Going off a diet. View it as a complete life style change. That way you'll never be on a diet ever again. And there will be no diet to go off of. And remember it only takes 21 days to develop a habit. Even if you have developed a habit of over eating or eating all the wrong foods for the last 50 years. It only takes 21 days to change it!

 

 Win the war

Don't let one lost battle end the war. If you break down and give into temptation, don't quit your diet! Simply try your best to restart your diet and keep trying. Dieting is not “all or nothing”, it’s the continued daily healthy decisions you make that will really make the difference in the long run.

 

 

 Write down goals

Write down all of the reasons you desire to lose weight and present them when you are tempted to eat or if you lose your drive. This not only helps getting you through the tough times, but it is an important step in setting up goals and achieving success in your diet.

 

 Set mini goals

If you have a lot of weight to loose, don't look at the overall picture...Track you weight loss in increments of 10lbs...That'll give you something to look forward to more often.

 

 Use your Clothes

Find a pair of jeans that don't fit and keep track of how close they are to fitting each time you try them on. Like one week you can get them up but not zipped or buttoned, then 2 weeks later you can get them zipped maybe just an inch, then so on and so forth. Until finally they fit. Your clothes tell you so much more than the scale, because muscle weighs more than fat. And you may be losing fat and inches and gaining muscle.
